GiGa offers various short courses on the environmental improvement of products, at ESCI as well as in companies that request it. The contents and duration can be adapted according to the needs of those attending.

Some of the training courses GiGa offers include:

• Initiation to Life Cycle Analysis (LCA): analysis of the relationship between the product and the environment by means of theoretical sessions, exercises and practical cases on LCA methodology.
  
  
• Advanced course in Life Cycle Analysis: proficiency in the use of the methodology, looking in depth at specific methodological aspects and at the latest innovations at an international level.
  
  
• Introduction to eco-design: study of tools, strategies and examples on the introduction of the environmental variable into the design of new products and services.
  
  
• Environmental communication of products and services: acquisition of knowledge for the correct use of eco-labels in accordance with the corresponding ISO standards.
  
  
• Introduction to the GaBi programme: Principles of functioning, applications and practical exercises of this computer Life Cycle Analysis programme.
